Frequently asked questions
The questions we hear most from principals, business managers, and procurement offices — funding, vendor status, delivery, and how a partnership actually starts.
Funding & procurement
Funding
Is this eligible for Title I or Title IV-A funding?
Yes, easily. Title I supports instruction for students who need it most, and Title IV-A specifically funds safe-and-healthy-students programming — which covers SEL and restorative practice directly. We'll help your business office build the case.

Are you a registered vendor?
We hold a D-U-N-S number. Liberated Learning Institute is also 100% owned by Dahlia Quintanilla, a Mexican woman — many districts count that toward vendor diversity goals through owner self-attestation. Ask us for whatever documentation your procurement office needs.

Do you deliver outside Michigan?
On-site delivery isn't limited to Michigan and Illinois — those are just our regular footprint. We'll travel for the right partnership; ask us what that looks like for your state. Remote delivery is available nationwide.

Process
How does a partnership start?
Almost always with a conversation, not a proposal. We ask about your schedule, your discipline data, and what your staff is already carrying before recommending anything.
Start a conversationTimeline
How long does a partnership run?
Anywhere from a single professional development day to a multi-year, whole-building partnership. We'll help you find the right scope.

What does it cost?
It depends on scope — workbook licensing, a single workshop, or a full partnership each price differently. Visit Begin for current pricing, or ask us directly.

What's the difference between the Foundations Cohort and Practitioner Pathway?
Foundations is a five-week introduction to the model, practiced in community. Practitioner Pathway is a deeper certification for people ready to teach it.
See Foundations CohortTiming
Can I start anytime?
The Foundations Cohort runs once per season with a fixed start date. The Liberated Learning Community and Exhale are open anytime.

Do you offer sliding scale or financial support?
Yes. The Foundations Cohort is already priced on a sliding scale, and a limited number of seats are held for people who need additional support — reach out and ask.

Do you work with schools and organizations directly?
Yes — see the Institutions pages, or reach out directly to start a conversation.

Reach out directly — we'd rather answer it before you sign anything than after.
